Description
Filing a bug for Soft Linden.
Reproduction steps
- On a Mac, with Audio Technica AT2020USB+ microphone connected.
- Set the system-level input to 50%.
- Log in with the 7.2.0.16729091892 viewer.
- Visit a WebRTC region.
- Speak into the microphone while watching voice indicator for green lines.
Observed: The voice indicator for self does not turn green.
Expected: Green voice bars for self should be visible to indicate your voice is transmitting.
Workaround: Crank up the gain both in macOS settings and in SL. But then it also picks up a ton of room noise. With all other apps (and with Vivox regions), keeping the system-level input at 50% works well.
