Description

Materials applied to all sides of an object by holding the shift modifier are not actually applied

Reproduction steps

  1. Create a box.
  2. Hold down the Shift key.
  3. Drag a Material from Inventory onto a box.

Observed: The material appears to be applied to all sides of the box, but an observer does not see any materials on the box. If you duplicate the box or take/rez it, the materials on the box vanish.

Expected: The material should be applied to all sides of the box.

Note: This works as expected in the current Release viewer 7.2.2.18475198968 - 2025.07.
