Unable to install Serilog.Sinks.MSSqlServer v9.0.0

In my project I have the following references:

    <ImplicitUsings>enable</ImplicitUsings>
  </PropertyGroup>

    <PackageReference Include="Serilog.AspNetCore" Version="9.0.0" />
    <PackageReference Include="Serilog.Expressions" Version="5.0.0" />
    <PackageReference Include="Swashbuckle.AspNetCore.SwaggerUI" Version="9.0.6" />
  </ItemGroup>

</Project>

If I try to install Serilog.Sinks.MSSqlServer v9.0.0, I get this error:

I know that I can solve the issue by manually install the System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager package, but I think that this problem should be fixed within the Serilog.Sinks.MSSqlServer package itself.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I'm working on the fix.

Edit:
It only occurrs when the project using the sink targets .NET 9.

There is now a preview version 9.0.1-dev-00145 of the sink available on nuget.org. @marcominerva can you please test it in your app and let me know of the results?

Hi! I can confirm that version 9.0.1-dev-00145 installs correctly in my project targeting .NET 9.
