What's the right way for a plugin to access another plugins configuration variables?

Hi,

In a local plugin, I'm doing this:

// current implementation
const git = this.serverless.pluginManager.plugins.find(p => p.constructor.name === 'ServerlessGitVariables'
const value = (
      await git.configurationVariablesSources.git.resolve({
        address: 'describe',
      })
    ).value;

I expect something like this is possible, but I've not been able to find any reference to it, or any other uses of it in other plugins:

// desired implementation
const value = this.serverless.resolveConfigurationVariable('git:describe')

Am I doing a bad thing by referencing another plugin like this?
