Description
Describe the bug
Session Desktop, right click a community, click to Delete messages. It removed community content from GUI within several minutes of "working animation", and it also freed some disk space. GOOD.
Leaving the community and Session restart does NOT free-up the disk space used by that community attachments (maybe under latest Session it will work). I was checking size (df -h) and count of the files (using ncdu utility) in ~/.config/Session/attachments.noindex and it not decreased but it increased when i join that community again.
So it seems like a bug and only hack is to remove all Session attachments (bad) by emptying ~/.config/Session/attachments.noindex/ ❔ I am looking for other way to cleanup attachments beside emptying whole folder (ideally wish to preserve 1to1 chats and certain priv. groups attachments). 6 months communities trim feature is insufficient for active content focused rooms - it can grow like 0,5GB daily. And i have not verified if that trim function actually works for both messages and attachments.
