Utter 0.6.4 (beta)

Cancel a dictation. The pill now has an ✕. Click it while Utter is listening, transcribing or tidying, and the dictation is dropped: nothing is typed and nothing is kept. Clicking the pill never takes the cursor out of the app you're typing in.

Copy when there's nowhere to type. Dictate with no text box selected (a web page, a list of files, the desktop) and Utter no longer pastes into thin air. The pill says "Nowhere to type it" with a Copy button, which stays for eight seconds, longer while your pointer is on it.

Parakeet comes with the app. Parakeet v3, the fast speech model for 25 languages, is now in every release (macOS 14 or later). Pick it under Speech. If you already had it, it's back. The first dictation after updating can take a minute while macOS prepares it.

Update from About with Install and restart, or download it below. Signed and notarised. Apple silicon, macOS 12 or later.
