A geophysical library for Python
rppy is a rock physics modelling and interpretation library aimed at well logging and reflection seismic datasets. It includes
- Seismic reflectivity modelling of isotropic, VTI, HTI, and fully orthorhombic media
- Fluid property modelling using the industry-standard Batzle & Wang relations
- Mineral and rock frame property modelling using both contact and inclusion models
