Security

  • MessageGeneration/MessageParser:
    • Fix code-injection vulnerability (CWE-94) in message generation
    • A crafted .msg/.srv/.action definition could run arbitrary code during generation (in the RosMsgGen tool or the Unity message-generation window).
    • String constants/defaults and comments are now escaped before being emitted into the generated source.
