Does immich-go still tag an image that was "rejected" with "same asset already on server"?

If I call 'upload from-folder --folder-as-album PATH --folder-as-tags --session-tag' the uploaded images will get two tags. One for the folder path and one for the session. However, it seems to me that if an image is rejected by the server when it is already present, none of those tags is being added to the existing image. This would however be very favorable in my opinion, at least for the folder tag.
Is this a correct assumption?

Never mind, the duplicate image is still being tagged. My mistake.
