TeslaLauncher V2 (v1.3.5)

This update introduces seamless Google Maps deep linking for instant navigation and brings massive under-the-hood stability fixes for both 3D Mapbox rendering and USB cameras.

🗺️ Seamless Deep Linking

  • Native Target: The launcher now acts as a native target for shared Google Maps links.
  • Instant Routing: Click a location link in any app (or message), select TeslaLauncher, and it will automatically parse the coordinates and route you in the Trip Planner. It even decodes shortened goo.gl links in the background.

🛠️ Under the Hood & Bugfixes

  • Zero-Lag Reverse Gear: Completely redesigned Mapbox layering. Shifting into reverse (R) no longer destroys the 3D map from memory. It stays active beneath the camera layer, permanently silencing Mbgl-RenderThread crashes and drastically saving CPU.
  • UVC Camera Engine 2.0: Fixed USB permissions on Android 14+ with a new asynchronous polling loop and FLAG_MUTABLE support.
  • Camera Format Cascade: Added a fallback cycle (MJPEG, YUYV, multiple resolutions) to ensure compatibility with older or cheaper capture cards on Android 10.

📥 Installation Instructions

  1. Download TeslaLauncherV2_v1.3.5.apk from the Assets section below.
  2. Transfer the APK to your Android device (or download it directly via the device's browser).
  3. Open a File Manager, locate the APK, and tap to install. (If prompted, allow installation from unknown sources).
  4. Open the app. Your previous settings, offline maps, and Bluetooth configurations will be preserved if you are updating from v1.3.1 or newer.
