Installing xACARS

Step 1: Downloading xACARS

Firstly, to install, download the latest version from https://github.com/slimit75/xACARS/releases, and extract it.

Step 2: Installing xACARS

Run the setup.exe included in the latest zip file, and run it. Do not change the default install folder, this might break xACARS. Until I get an option in the installer, you will need to drag the included shortcut onto the desktop. Should this not work, make a shortcut to the xACARS.exe file in the install path. By default, the install path is %APPDATA%\xACARS.

Step 3: Installing requirements

In order for xACARS to communicate with the simulator, you will need to install FlyWithLua if you use X-Plane or FSUIPC if you use FSX & P3D.

Step 3.1: Installing FlyWithLua script (X-PLANE ONLY)

Copy the script in the FWL (X-Plane) folder of the zip you downloaded, and put it in the scripts directory of FlyWithLua.
