I work with a crop that is transplanted into the field after planting in trays. Ideally, I could add both planting date and transplanting date in the trial details on a trial page. Currently it is only possible to add the planting date. I am using management factors to track transplanting date, but it is a hacky way of doing it. Would it possible to add a transplanting date field to the trial detail page? Transplanting date would be relevant to a lot of programs working with vegetable crops.

Yeah, it would mostly apply to vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and in my case, squash and pumpkins. A setting in the config file seems like a good idea to me.

This ticket should be combined with #4427, which could be implemented at the same time

And probably also with #4399, which also deals with additional trial data to be added a creation time
