No sound on Sonic Pi

Hi,
I have just downloaded the latest version of Sonic Pi on the computers in my classroom and when I click run no sound will come out.
The sound on the computer works normally. I have already tried to end the process and re-open. This did not work.

Could you help please.

Hi there, sorry you're having issues. It looks like the audio system isn't correctly starting. Unfortunately I can't do much with this log as it's not giving me any information that I can use to reproduce the situation locally.

Is this on Windows? If so, which version? Also, are you installing on a networked cluster of computers? Does each computer have its own user account or are they all sharing the same account?

We've observed issues with certain network setups that we struggle to reproduce here that make it very hard to debug and fix.

Are you a programmer, or do you work with a programmer that could help look into this issue in depth?

Thanks for your prompt reply.
We have previously installed an older version which worked fine.
We are on a school network whereby I have installation access rights to
each individual computer. The students can then access the program.

I can forward this on to the network manager and see what they can do.
Alternatively, is there anywhere I can install an older version from?

It's very interesting to hear that an older version worked for you. Here's where you can download older releases:

Would it be possible for you to work backwards through these and let me know which one works for you.
