Swap to queue vs cron for userId

We are having issue where cron runs on an already deleted object, thus fails. We need to either support that or just support #5

Queue won't work because we batch insert, so not possible to emit events individually (?) for those bulk created items. Might convert the entire creation to be synchronous. Would remove need for Immutable code for changing user_id/processed.
