Driver is for the VL53L1X, not the VL53L5CX or VL53L4CD.

The VL53L1X apparently has 16-bit register addresses, so it currently does not work with the MicroPython I2C driver. The Linux driver include this special read function for 16-bit register addresses, which this driver uses. Should we create a MicroPython equivalent? And should the I2CDriver base class include it too?
