Windows 10

Razer Blade Stealth Laptop, OS: Windows 10.0.14393, x64-Based PC. After downloading a zip (from here) and extracting, the driver installer for both x64 and x82 did not work. Running it with administrator privileges did not work. Troubleshooting by running it in one of the older versions of Windows in Compatibility Mode did not help in the slightest. Neither did using a clone from the Github desktop work. The window would open for just a split-second and then close. When reopening the installer rapidly, the title "installer...exe" was visible, but no other text, just a white window. Ultimately, I was unable to get a driver installed by searching for it manually in device manager without that installer working.
However, I was able to get the driver from an Adafruit Driver Installer application, which can be found here: https://learn.adafruit.com/usbtinyisp/drivers
And a few short minutes later I had some code working on an Attiny45 and breadboard!

Hi,

I was updating a few tutorials related to our AVR programmers when I noticed the issue that was filed in this GitHub repo. I just tested the drivers using a Pocket AVR Programmer on a 64-bit Windows 10 version 1803 (OS Build 17134.472) on my personal computer. I was able to get it working. I'll need to check using the Tiny AVR Programmer to see if I get the same results using the drivers listed. I can update as necessary.

PS: I remember one of our technical support representatives explaining this same issue and the fix was to also use AdaFruit's drivers =>https://github.com/SparkfunTechSupport/Additional-files/tree/master/PGM-11801 . If that is the case, I can see about adding a note in our AVR tutorials.
