404 error for images that exist in Asset Server

Describe the bug
I’m trying to track down the source of a 404 error that my Collections Curators are finding. They uploaded a number of images that they can no longer access, but were able to before. When I looked in the Docker Container under /home/specify/attachments/originals, the files were present as expected. I tried a variety of access points, including going through the fileget API route, and kept getting 404 errors, specifically telling me that the “object” was not found. Since this is not congruent with the server.py error messages, I wasn’t able to debug further and was a bit stumped as to where to look next.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to API route for image attachments: https://assets-ca.specifycloud.org/fileget?coll=beaty&type=T&filename=aaa08154-35b3-48c2-8926-7d64bbdc5b0d.tif&scale=123
2. See error.

Expected behavior
To be able to download images using the provided link.

Hi Paul, I don't believe that this is a bug in the Specify software, rather something instance specific. I'll reach out over email, as I believe I know the cause of this, and can provide some specific instructions.

@grantfitzsimmons, I won't make a habit of closing issues with the new contributor role, but will make an exception in this case because it's Beaty and I'm confident this isn't a bug in the code.

Hi folks, this issue is not yet closed and I can't re-open on the forum for some reason. We're getting multiple image request problems that seem to have come out of nowhere.

Specify team, I'll reopen this here and hand it back over, as it likely requires more debugging than I am able to help with as an outsider. This may be a good candidate for the new ticketing system.
