Hey, I'm Matthew Kieren, a self-taught, independent researcher based in Washington state.

I've been working with computers since I was nine, and my curiosity about technology goes back as far as I can remember. I don't have a traditional academic background; everything I know comes from decades of hands-on experience, self-directed study, and a genuine love for understanding how things work. Over the years I've worked as a computer technician, photographer, designer, and programmer. Most recently, I spent over a decade as a full-time caregiver for my late mother, Rose Kieren.
