Hi, I'm Pool. I'm a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years shipping production software across LATAM, Europe and the US. I build open source tools I wish existed, focused on performance, security and operational simplicity.

What I'm currently building

  • z8run: a visual flow engine in Rust and React. Self-hosted alternative to n8n and Node-RED, with sandboxed WASM plugins, a binary WebSocket protocol and parallel DAG execution.
  • aegis: a Rust CLI that detects malicious npm packages before you install them. Catches obfuscated eval, typosquatting, maintainer takeovers and suspicious scripts. Local-first, no cloud, no accounts.
  • Maple: a native macOS Git client built in SwiftUI. Fast, free, no Electron. Talks directly to the Git CLI, with full diff viewer, commit graph and stash management.
