Version picker on left nav not working

I'm not sure why there are two version pickers. Or maybe one of them isn't but it looks like one (rendered as link with "v" icon) but isn't. Anyway the left hand one (above the left navigation) doesn't work, but the right hand one (next to the "search" box) does.

There is a way to select the version of the already specified component and then a way to toggle between the components and versions. So one is a shortcut if you only have to switch between versions.

Can you provide a little more detail on how to reproduce the issue? Perhaps have some screenshots on what is working and not?

The version picker on the left (next to the home icon) is not a version picker - you click on it and nothing happens. The one on the right has a drop down of all the versions of the current page.

Thanks for the additional details. The Spring Security / Session docs use antora-ui-spring and the picker works fine. Can you tell me how to reproduce this?

The "picker" works the same in the Spring Security docs I think. It's the same in the sense that it is styled the same. It brings up/down the custom navigation pane (which I don't have in the example above, so I guess it's a no-op). The point is that it doesn't do the same as the identically styled button on the top right, which is a version picker.

@oodamien What are your thoughts? Do you think it is a bad UX to have the picker expand components + versions on the left and just versions on the upper right? I personally don't see a problem with it, but I'm also not very good with UX.
