Riptide is now on Apple TV

A native tvOS app (RiptideTV) shares the library, mpv player and Trakt sync with the Mac app. It installs through Xcode; see the Apple TV section of the README. The DMG below is the Mac app.

  • Phone pairing: scan a QR code and enter your keys from your phone, no remote typing
  • Movies, TV Shows, Continue, Watchlist, Explore and Search tabs
  • Title pages with resume / play from start, other versions and episode lists
  • Skip Intro button, Up Next countdown with an autoplay setting
  • Subtitle picker with sync / delay controls

macOS

  • New app icon (ribbon play mark), with Tahoe glass, dark and tinted variants

Install

Download Riptide-0.2.0.dmg, drag Riptide to Applications and launch. Signed and notarized, macOS 26+.
