Meeting Details
- Date & Time: Thursday, June 19, 2025, 11:00-11:30 AM UTC
- Duration: 30 minutes
- YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/live/vcX2UO9zWyk
- Moderator: Aayush Giri
Agenda Items
1. Starknet v0.14.0 Testnet Deployment Status (Leonardo Lerer)
- Final preparations for June 30th testnet deployment
- RPC 0.9 release status and implementation details
- External partner readiness for transaction v3 migration
- Mainnet preparation for July 28th upgrade
Reasoning: In call #28, Leo announced specific dates for testnet (June 30th) and mainnet (July 28th) upgrades, and mentioned RPC 0.9 was still in PR stage with plans to release it "ASAP". This update will cover final testnet preparations and RPC 0.9 status just days before the planned deployment.
2. Staking v2 Launch Results (Natan Granit)
- June 17th launch outcomes and validator participation
- Network performance during the transition
- Issues encountered and resolutions
- Monitoring and support status
Reasoning: In call #28, Natan confirmed June 17th as the Staking v2 launch date, with attestation contracts already deployed. By call #29, the launch will have just happened, making this a timely update on the transition results.
3. Client Team v0.14.0 & Staking v2 Support
- Pathfinder (Krisztian Kovacs):
- RPC 0.9 implementation status
- Pruned mode development progress
- Staking v2 attestation performance
- Juno (Rodrigo Pino):
- v0.14.0 pre-release status
- Tendermint implementation progress toward end-of-June target
- Staking v2 validator tool performance
- Kasar Labs (Trantorian):
- WebSocket methods implementation completion
- Cairo Native features integration status
- v0.14.0 readiness assessment
Reasoning: In call #28, all client teams reported ongoing work on different aspects of v0.14.0 support. Pathfinder had released a beta version with v0.14.0 support and was working on pruned mode, Juno was targeting end of June for Tendermint implementation, and Kasar Labs was integrating WebSocket methods and Cairo Native features.
4. Consensus Implementation Progress
- Malachite (Adi Seredinschi):
- Liveness protocol finalization status
- Large-scale testing progress (Cortosis vs. Terraform approaches)
- Next steps following completion of interoperability tests
- Cross-client Testing Coordination:
- Plans for testing between different consensus implementations
- Test environment requirements and timeline
Reasoning: In call #28, Adi reported that interoperability tests were considered finished after fixing the slow block production issue and adding non-empty blocks support. They were waiting on protocol finalization for liveness and exploring two testing infrastructure approaches. This update will cover progress since then and coordination for cross-implementation testing.
5. Mainnet v0.14.0 Planning (Leonardo Lerer)
- Detailed timeline for July 28th upgrade
- RPC provider readiness assessment
- Migration guidance for ecosystem projects
- Contingency plans and testing strategy
Reasoning: With the mainnet upgrade scheduled for July 28th as announced in call #28, this dedicated item will allow for detailed discussion of the mainnet migration plan, ensuring all participants are prepared for this significant upgrade.
6. AOB (Any Other Business)
