bidi - tests - lint

Description

Currently there is a bug in our pyproject.toml that prevents linting on our bidi tests. I am addressing this as part of #1299. Ultimately, we will have hatch run prepare check the bidi subpackage. Currently we have an isolated hatch run bidi:prepare command. To simplify the reviews, I am opening this PR just to fix the existing lint issues.
