red dot is in an odd place. and why '1'?

other changes I want to make here:

• better 'log in' button — something like this
• make the logged in state look nicer
  • use the same dropdown as we have for the docs, for the 'log out' and 'your saved apps' options
• get rid of the fullscreen icon, it's overkill
• move the download button to the right, so that the disabled-when-logged-out buttons are grouped on the left
