Issue Description:

Version 4.0.7 of pod2man requires a value be passed to the --release flag. This causes the pod2man program to fail when generating swift manpage.

Discovered on: Fedora 24
Possible fixes: remove --release flag OR use --release="3.0preview2"

This flag controls the release, which is displayed on the bottom left of the manpage.

With the version of pod2man shipped with Ubuntu 14.04, passing --release without an argument seems to set the release to an empty string.

I have checked a few linux manpages selected at random, and most projects seem to set this to "(project-name) (version)", GNU ls for example has "GNU coreutils 8.25" on my Arch Linux server.

So I think the right way to resolve this issue would be to use --release "swift ${SWIFT_VERSION}".
