I really don't have a clue right now.

• CodeSandbox has history issues
• CodePen doesn't support multiple pages
• anything else out there?

At least I've downloaded our demos using https://github.com/potch/glitch-downloader, so that we don't loose the data.

Alternatives considered 🤔

Maybe a more durable approach would be to host the demos on GitHub itself, via Netlify or so.

I tried val.town and render.com.

• val.town seems to only be for node stuff
• render.com seems to be working: https://swup-demo-basic.onrender.com/

Need to investigate if it supports "one-off" projects, without connecting them to a git repo (although maybe that's the way to do it?)

I created a new repo (ONE repo) for all our demos:

https://github.com/swup/demos/

This repo is automatically deployed to https://render.com:

https://swup-demos.onrender.com/

Each demo lives completely encapsulated in it's own sub folder.

Notes: With this step there is no simple forking possible anymore. Also, another note: https://render.com is just the same as other services like https://netlify.com, for example – it's a simple way to deploy a static website.

Next up: Update the 11ty demo references.
