Hi Tom, These terraform scripts have been tested and correctly provision all the static infrastructure needed for a Kops cluster. This is useful for cases when we deploy a cluster into a VPC with other services also living in that VPC (Lambdas, RDS, etc). If for some reason we need to redeploy the cluster, we do not have to remove other services from the VPC, however, this is not the case if we let Kops provision static infrastructure for us. |
