Adding a proposal

Before submitting your proposal, read our guidelines about Creating a proposal for GSoC 2018

To add a new proposal, click New Page and set the page name to GSoC 2018 Proposal: your project name (username) (for example GSoC 2018 Proposal: Elastic destination: libcurl based (username)), and write your proposal there. Do not forget to also record your proposal on the Google Summer of Code page by posting a link to the previously created Wiki page. Do not copy your text there, just include the link to this Wiki page.

If you have already wrote a proposal on the Google Summer of Code page, you can copy that over here. The reason we ask for this method is that because this way, the proposals can still be improved after the application deadline has passed, and once accepted, we can add further information such as progress and repository URLs.

And as a final step, when the proposal Wiki page has been created, add it to this page too, to the list below:
