Dashboard is refreshing itself every second when published to Tableau Server

This extension is great and we are using it on a Tableau dashboard to keep dates updated.

It works flawlessly on the file when opened locally on my machine but once we publish the file to Tableau server and view it there, the dashboard keeps refreshing itself every second. This behavior completely goes away once feleting the extension off of the workbook.

Is this something anyone else has experienced and what is the best way for me to resolve?

Hi @mikeb3408, this is an issue with extensions in general. This is caused when an extension needs to read information from a dashboard and the user doesn't have the "Download Summary Data" permission. You'll need to enable this permission for the extension to work for those users in Server.
