Missing Advanced UIs Exercise

Thank you very much for this course. At the end of Chapter 6, Advanced UIs, @gshotwell mentions some exercise(s) where we're supposed to search for information about how to add different things to our shiny apps. Glad you enjoyed the course! There's no specific exercise for that, it's more meant for you to go find some new thing in the docs that you haven't tried and try it. As a result there's not really a right answer, it's just an opportunity to try to work through the documentation in a more realistic way.
