I have tried building in Centos (in docker) and had a show stopper error at the cmake. stage. After consulting with @Totktonada we was able to complete the building process by adding 'make' package in system by 'yum install make'. It is probably worth documenting. tl/dr need to add 'yum install make'

It is not so. We use GNU Make on all platforms. The command to run GNU Make called make everywhere except FreeBSD, where it is called gmake.
