Website integration of projector visualization

Hi,

I am an undergraduate student, and I would like to to use Tensorboard's projector visualisation on a personal website. I have not done much web-programing yet, so I have a few questions:

• Do I have the right to use your visualisation on my website ?
• Is there a way to retrieve the interactive visualisation ?
  Again, I am no specialist in web-programming so maybe what I am saying is nonsense, but if you have have time I would love some help.

Hi Arthur, thanks for your interest. The projector visualization code, like all of TensorBoard, is governed by our Apache 2.0 license. You can see GitHub's summary of what that license permits here and what the conditions are: https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorboard/blob/master/LICENSE

For the interactive visualization, it's possible to instantiate the visualization independently as a custom Polymer HTML element. You can see an example of that here: https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorboard/blob/master/tensorboard/plugins/projector/vz_projector/vz-projector-app.html That's about all we can provide in terms of help, but best of luck with your project.

Hi @nfelt, the file you linked doesn't exist anymore, is this the same one? https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorboard/blob/master/tensorboard/plugins/projector/vz_projector/vz-projector-app.ts
Are you able to provide any other guidance on how to get this working (which files to clone, etc)? Additionally, how customizable and responsive would this element be?

The closest equivalent to the previous file is vz-projector-app.ts, yes, but the code changed substantially during our migration to polymer 3 and I can't guarantee anything about whether it still works today (2+ years later) or what would be needed to get it working. Since we don't officially support using this code outside TensorBoard, I'm afraid I can't really provide much further help than that.
