Cannot find package 'cross-spawn'

I am facing this error when I try to run cli

I tried with node version 20 and 22.

Seems to be an existing issue with all the npx thirdweb commands.

What worked out for me is:

1. Opening a new terminal window/session.

2. Going to the directory by copying the exact path (right before node_modules folder) shown in the error, like:

   cd /Users/USERNAME/.npm/_npx/86fd6f984ad48a35

3. Then, installing the cross-spawn package using the npm install command, like:

   npm install cross-spawn

After that, any npx thirdweb command would work fine.

Oh okay. I've just noticed that.

But, as I can see from your error screenshot, it's showing the path as:

/usr/local/lib/node_modules/thirdweb/dist/esm/cli/bin.js

Whereas, in case of @poboisvert and mine, it's showing:

/Users/USERNAME/.npm/_npx/86fd6f984ad48a35/node_modules/thirdweb/dist/esm/cli/bin.js

So, your initial thirdweb library installation seems to be inside the OS lib directory, whereas in our case it's inside the .npm package manager directory.

Therefore, even after the global installation of cross-spawn package using npm i -g cross-spawn command, it didn't work out, unless cross-spawn is explicitly installed in the directory specified by the error.
