How might we update old applications generated by Suspenders?

Since applications generated by Suspenders don't actually depend on Suspenders, they're essentially a snapshot in time of our preferences. This means they can become out of date.

A simple example is that in v20260105.0, we added libvips to ci.yml. If you had generated an application with Suspenders with an older version, you would have missed out on that improvement.

One solution might be to just use the app:template command:

You can use the app:template rails command to apply templates to an existing Rails application. The location of the template needs to be passed in via the LOCATION environment variable. Again, this can either be path to a file or a URL.
