I don't know if there is a "simple" way to do it. I think that if you bring in the body as a string, convert to a dict and then you can create the model. Here is a xml -> dict library I have used: https://pypi.org/project/xmltodict/

These are the steps to look at:

• Get the request body directly as a string: https://fastapi.tiangolo.com/advanced/using-request-directly/?h=request+body
• Convert the XML string to a dict: https://pypi.org/project/xmltodict/
• Build a Pydantic Model object using named parameters.

It's not perfect, but it would work.
