I'm using a modbus tcp HA integration to control 2 Marstek Venus V3 batteries. I'm not using a Marstek CT because I have an Ethernet wired P1 meter (1 Hz linked to HA VIA MQTT) and I don't want to use a WiFi device for this. For now, I only want self consumption mode. I read that a Marstek CT is very good at this. How does this integration compared to using a real Marstek CT? It's not using PID control as far as I can see so I'm very intrigued. Also, does this allows faster battery operation then using modbus? With the current integration I use (with PID control), my residual consumption/injection rises quick when using devices with short periods of high power demand going on and off. So I'm curious if this could be a better solution. I see that there are optional settings for email/pw for the Marstek account. I suppose this is not optional when I want to use the CT002 emulation. Correct?
