If terms have been defaulted at the project-level, then the defaulted terms selections should display on every challenge, F2F, and task created for that project.

@acshields it is mentioned as checklist which means user can select both terms? Also, it seems we are showing Terms question in different format in Projects app appirio-tech/connect-app#4273 than here. Is it intentional? I mean to be consistent shouldn't we be using the same UI element to select terms in both apps?

@vikasrohit - I have updated the requirements above, so that Terms field is now called "Enforce NDA" and the answer format is Yes/No Radio button.

Late last week I was confirming how this question should behave with Tony for V1. I believe these changes are now reflected in both Projects App Git Issue for "Terms" as well as to the corresponding WM Git Issue (this one).

@acshields thanks for confirmation but I think you missed to actually update the requirements above, it is still saying:

@vikasrohit I would like to confirm with you one technical detail.

While at the moment we set only one terms - NDA in the Connect App. Potentially we can set multiple terms to the terms filed in Connect App.

So we would implement it the way, that during challenge creation we would apply ALL terms in the terms field of the project not only NDA. So if in the future we add more terms in Connect, WM would start applying them automatically.

Would be this expected behaviour?

Yes, we should plan with multiple terms as challenge api support array of terms. We should keep the structure similar.

Sum up:
The logic of this task should be like this:

• When we are creating a new challenge, we should apply all the terms of the projects which are listed in the project.terms array to the challenge. So new challenge has to be created with the same terms as project.

  • For now we have to only do this logic if there is beta=ture in the URL. We would remove this flag after release, but we want this feature work only for beta testers if we set this flag in URL. Later we should be able to easily remove this beta flag and this feature should work for all. The rest requirements below should work without this flag.

• During editing challenge we have to able change the value for NDA term. The rest terms (if any) should stay as it is, we only want to enable/disalbe NDA terms for now. We already have NDA terms UUID configured.

• Note, that we already can edit NDA terms using checkbox:

  

  So it should be replaced with radio boxes yes/no and moved under the "Advanced Settings".

• "Advanced Settings" should be automatically opened during editing if NDA is enabled, the same way as "Advanced Settings" are opened if some groups are selected.
