the Origins of Cancer: Tracing the Unknown" Cancer originates from the uncontrolled growth and division of abnormal cells. Normal cells in the body grow, divide, and die in a regulated manner. However, when genetic mutations or alterations occur, these cells can evade normal growth controls, leading to the formation of a tumor.
