This project is a proof of concept (PoC) to study the viability, strengths, weaknesses and challenges of using an event-driven, services oriented architecture based on publish-subscribe pattern, but using a `monolith` instead of `microservices`.
SFA-API is the prototype of an API with two different architectures (monolothic architecture and a microservice architecture).
Refactored the Udaconnect app (from monolithic to microservices) and implemented Kafka, gRPC, and RESTful API to allow message passing between the microservices. I also created OpenAPI documentation for the API endpoints and provided a Postman library for the endpoints created.
