CloudStream Pro v1.4.0 — "SkyStream Plugins"

The plugin release: a whole new extension system joins the app,
plus a rebuilt Feed, a floating navigation bar, and a fresh icon
set. Device-tested and approved. v1.3.1 remains the fallback.

SkyStream plugins (new)

  • SkyStream's own plugins now run inside CloudStream Pro: install
.sky plugin files or add plugin repositories, and their
providers appear alongside your regular ones — home sections,
    search, and streams included.
  • A new "SkyStream Plugins" page manages everything: installed
plugins with their settings, and a Discover tab for browsing
    repositories.
  • Plugins start with a clean slate — add the repositories you
    want yourself.

Extensions, rebuilt

  • All four extension pages — Extensions, Nuvio, Stremio, and
SkyStream Plugins — now share one two-tab layout: Installed and
Repositories/Discover, with a swipe between them.
  • Installed plugins show their icon, status, and settings in one
place; repositories are easier to add, refresh, and remove.

Feed

  • Categories now come from your providers' own sections (Korean
Drama becomes "K-Drama", and so on), with rating-based rows as
a fallback — so the shelves match what your providers actually
    carry.
  • Settings → Content → Feed Categories lets you hide shelves and
drag them into your preferred order. "View All" opens the full
    category, loaded on demand.
  • The Feed search button opens its own full-screen search page
over the Feed — results come from the feed pool, tapping one
plays it in the feed player, and Back returns you to the Feed.
  • The Info sheet is richer: poster, genres, description, a
Starring cast grid, and a Trailer button that plays the trailer
right inside the sheet. Tapping a cast member opens their
filmography, gathered from TVmaze and Wikidata.
  • The feed player is locked at its full 16:9 size — scrolling the
list below it never squeezes the video, and swipe gestures for
brightness and volume stay exactly where you left them.

Navigation & icons

  • The bottom bar is now a floating pill: tap a tab and it expands
with a smooth spring to show its name, while the rest stay
icon-only. The active tab sits on a grey highlight. TV keeps
    the classic bar, untouched.
  • Every icon in the app has been redrawn in the Lucide style —
one consistent 2px-stroke set across navigation, settings,
    player, and lists.

Home

  • Pure-black background throughout, with red-underlined section
headers and a compact "View All" pill.
  • The provider switcher is smarter — one sheet to pick your
homepage provider or a custom list — and its pill in the top
bar is now slightly transparent over the artwork.
  • Continue Watching sits directly on the black background, and
its thumbnail shows a pause badge while that title is the one
loaded in the player — play everywhere else.

Details

  • A full-bleed backdrop header with the poster and title over it,
a red Play pill and an outlined Download pill, a synopsis you
can expand, and season chips with an episode card list.
  • The Play and Download pills keep a clear, consistent gap in
every state — normal, resume ("time remaining"), and series.
  • Episode thumbnails carry the same state badge as Continue
Watching: pause for the episode currently loaded, play for
    the rest.

Player

  • Resize now starts on Zoom, and "fit to screen" is gone from
the resize cycle — Zoom and Fill are the two stops.
  • The lock button in the control row is back to the same size
    as its neighbours.

Look & consistency

  • Every bottom sheet and dialog in the app now follows one
standard style — same surface, same corners, same buttons —
so filters, info, and confirmations all feel like one app.
