📢 Version v0.1.0 (alpha) - Deephall on Android
ℹ️ First public build. Deephall is a dwarf colony sim, a continued fork of Mountaincore. The whole game is inside the APK: no game files to find, nothing else to install. Needs Android 11 or newer on a 64-bit (arm64) phone.
🆕 What's in it
The game
✅ Mountaincore, kept alive — the original game by Ross Turner, with fixes from this fork: workers who no longer get stuck, trading that pays from the depot floor with the smallest coins first, clearer messages when nobody has the profession a job needs, soldier profession icons.
✅ Event feed — a few short lines at the top of the screen tell you what just happened: newcomers, deaths, raids. Each line fades after 30 seconds.
Controls
✅ Touch first — tap to click, drag one finger to move around the map, pinch to zoom.
✅ On-screen buttons for game speed, menus and the build tools, with icons and coloured groups.
✅ Arrange the buttons in the game — hold V to move them, let go to save.
Saves
✅ Your saves stay on the phone, inside the app.
✅ Export / Import — long-press the Deephall icon. Export packs all your saves into one zip, wherever you choose (Downloads, Google Drive...). Import takes such a zip back, or a single .save file, for example one from the PC version of Mountaincore.
✅ Import never overwrites quietly: a save with the same name is kept as .save.bak.
Settings
✅ Long-press the icon → Settings. The main one is Resolution scale: lower is faster and blurrier, higher is sharper. It starts at 60%.
✅ Interface size is set in the game itself: Options → interface scale.
✅ Report a bug is also on the long-press menu: it prepares an email with the game logs attached. Please add a few words on what happened.

ℹ️ Credits
Deephall is based on Mountaincore by Ross Turner (MIT). The Android part grew out of my launcher Zomdroid and runs the game through GL4ES. The game is free and open source.
