Shipped in v0.84.0 🎨 Calendar event colors now sync per event, in both directions:
One caveat worth knowing: Google only supports a fixed palette of 11 event colors, so writing a free-form Yuvomi color out to Google snaps to the nearest palette color (slightly lossy). Reading colors in from Google is exact. Colors you pick in Yuvomi are protected — a resync won't overwrite a color you changed yourself, while genuine remote color changes still flow in until you set your own. Thanks for the suggestion! It would be great if Yuvomi could preserve Google Calendar event colors in both directions. When Yuvomi fetches events from an external Google Calendar — which is already working — it could also display the same event colors in the Yuvomi interface. Likewise, when Yuvomi writes calendar data back out, including the event color would help ensure that the same color is visible in Google Calendar as well.
