What's new

  • Bring the AI you like. Meridian now takes API keys from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google Gemini, OpenRouter, xAI (Grok), Mistral, DeepSeek and Groq. Paste a key and Meridian works out whose it is, checks it with that company and stores it encrypted in your keychain. Pick the model per key in Settings → AI.
  • The gem, explained. The power-up now says in plain words what an API key is, what you get, why it's safe and what it costs, with one-minute guides for Gemini (free allowance), ChatGPT, Claude and OpenRouter. Go get a key, copy it, and Meridian picks it up by itself.
  • More agents in the Workbench. GitHub Copilot and OpenCode start with Meridian's browser tools; Cursor, Qwen Code, Amp, Goose and Droid appear once installed.
  • Agents know about your vault. Agents started from the Workbench are told which vault secrets are in their environment, so they don't go looking for the blank values in .env.

Acting in the browser, Tidy Today and link previews still run on Claude.
