DeepThroat Desktop now includes CLI v0.1.7 by default.

  • Continue with your DeepThroat website account and existing keys.
  • Full DeepThroat ASCII branding in the terminal.
  • Hosted web search works without another search API key.
  • Standalone CLI installations stay preferred during desktop upgrades and survive desktop uninstall.
  • Recognized legacy Python launchers are backed up and repaired.
  • Fresh installs, opt-out, Desktop 0.10.0 upgrades, standalone precedence, fallback and uninstall are verified on Windows.

NSIS: use /NOCLI to skip the CLI or /CLI to enable it. MSI: use ADDLOCAL=ALL REMOVE=deepthroatcli to install Desktop without the CLI. Open a new terminal after installation.
