Setup Nilan Comfort 250 via Waveshare RS485 Hat with Veista/Nilan custom integration

Hi All

Trying to connect, but with no succes.

Running HA on Raspberry 4 HA os
Modbus card Waveshare 2-CH RS485 HAT
and Veista/Nilan custom integration
Nilan use CTS400 (i think)

Driver for Waveshare are loaded and visible in HA

When setting up Nilan integration

i get invalid responce

Any ideers to why

If i try to connect via Modbus integration i get some responce - i trink
On Slave 30

On all other Slave nr i get error to connect

Either the port is already in use or the device path is invalid.

I have now removed the Nilan input panel, modbus intergration, and moved wires to other port on card - same result

Also note that this integration does not currently support cts400 devices!

Can you take pictures of your setup?

You should use a twisted pair on A and B.

I use a standard cat cable not shielded

On Nilan end Pin 4 and 5 in the rj45 are Modbus A and B and twisted pair blue and blue/white.

On RS485 board its still twisted

I have played with the modbus integration, and if i read ex adress 202 and others in that range i get short light on tx diode and after that a short light on rx diode. Adress are however empty, but seems like wiring are working
