When running with --save-without-archive, the application prints

Moving the configuration to the user-defined directory
Configuration saved successfully.

at the end, but the files are not actually moved to the specified directory. Instead they can be found in ~/.var/app/io.github.vikdevelop.SaveDesktop/cache/tmp/<folder name>/Configuration-2025-11-01.

Yeah, the silent failure is a bit unexpected. I will fix this in the next release :)

Probably you haven't allowed access to the folder you want, so try to allow it in the Flatseal app.

Thank you, this worked. I added the permission in Discover.

Shouldn't the application show an error when it is not allowed to write the files? Declaring success, but failing silently is quite unexpected.
