Intepretation of rhythmic-position.graceIndex

I would like to clarify the meaning of rhythmic-position.graceIndex with the following in mind.

My mnx exporter for Finale currently emits multiple sequential grace content items in the case where grace note values less than quarter have broken beams. This is to allow the singleton values to have slashes and the beamed values not to have slashes. (This is Finale behavior.)

Example:

In this case my exporter emits three successive grace items.

What I wish to clarify is that for this example grace indices proceed from right to left 1..4, irrespective of the fact that they are encoded in different grace items.
