👋 This thread is where we collect feedback on the experimental Wake build runner — thanks for trying it.

Wake is an experiment, and what we hear here decides where it goes. The most useful feedback is concrete:

• What you ran — the wails3 command or task, and your OS/arch.
• What you expected vs. what actually happened.
• Was it better? Faster, clearer, nicer to use — or not worth the switch?
• What broke? Anything Wake got wrong that the default Task runtime got right.
• What would have to be true for you to use it by default?

Trying it: Wake is off by default. Opt in with WAILS_USE_WAKE=true, e.g. WAILS_USE_WAKE=true wails3 build. It falls back to the embedded Task runtime automatically on anything it doesn't support, so enabling it is safe. If something misbehaves, WAKE_DEBUG=true prints the resolver internals — paste that with your report.
