I appreciate this request, however it started with AI. Over half of the original code was AI written or modified. With it had been a long time since I had coded anything, that is what helped it get off the ground in the first place. I understand the want to completely ban AI, I do not understand the sole requirement of AI. That being said, as long as the code does not contain security vulnerabilities, malicious intent, or completely breaks the structure that is already set in place, I do not have a problem accepting code that was written, or partially written, by AI or LLMs. I do agree, however, with asset creation. The only time I would think about adding future background images, or images in other places (if more tools are created) would be from DE themselves (official) or from artists (with credit). I have used AI to make certain images for illustration purposes, but those are for my own use. I am not a someone that is die hard AI, nor do I think the current usage is sustainable or good. However, it has its uses, and can help in some tasks that I think is good. |

Alternative idea: require AI disclosure. If AI is allowed, I think it's best if its use is out in the open, so that everyone can be better attuned to catch potential issues. I think this disclosure should go in a pull request where AI was used (so that reviewers are prominently alerted to it), and in the commit message of any commit with AI use (so it's visible when browsing the history). I've created a branch with these proposed changes. If you think this is a good idea, I can open a PR from it. |

I like that idea a lot. It adds transparency that folks can see, and that is always good. I will add to this just so it is out there, for those reviewing code and posting their reviews on PRs or any other sections of this repository, calling anything "shit" just because it was assisted or written by AI will be removed. We can all take a look at the code and give constructive criticism without that bullshit. I am not calling anyone out, just adding that expectation. |

There are a wide variety of reasons why Generative AI/LLMs are bad for software development, and bad for society in general. From code quality and security risks, to legal and environmental concerns (and many more), there's something for everyone to hate. Many open source projects have already adopted anti-AI policies. DE have stated that Warframe itself will remain free of AI: "Nothing in our games will be AI-generated. Ever.". I think this project should adopt a similar policy as well. Perhaps a statement such as:
This could be a new section in the README, or we could make a
CONTRIBUTING.mdfile and add it there (and probably pull the existing "Feedback, Issues & Feature Requests", "Reporting Issues (Bugs)", and "Support the Project" sections there too). This would also include removing the DeepWiki link from the README.
Any feedback is appreciated.
