Redirect to Hot Key enabled window when clicking on notifications

Hello,
I have the hot key shortcut enabled to display warp whenever I need it.
I launch workers fairly often and when I get a notification (on Mac) that a task has finished, I will be redirected to a new window if I click on it.
This is quite awkward. I'd expect the current process window to be opened instead.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The notification click redirect does not redirect to the adequate window.

Hi @Standaa I've been looking into this and I can't consistently reproduce it. I have a few questions that will help us work towards a resolution!

1. Are you still experiencing this issue or does it look like it's resolved?
2. Are you using "dedicated hotkey window" or "show/hide all windows"? or neither or both?

3. When you click the notification a new Warp window opens. Does that happen no matter which Warp window the notification originated from? Particularly, is the notification coming from the session inside the "dedicated hotkey window"?

A video of this behavior would be super helpful if you could post one here!

Hi David, Thank you for looking into my issue. Sorry for the late reply. I lacked the time to do a simple repro. Please find a video attached of the bug, which is exactl;y what you described: 1. I am using the hotkey a la total terminal 2. I launch a worker in the cli 3. I move on to something else 4. I get a notification from warp that the job finished 5. Upon clicking it a new unrelated window is open instead of the hotkey window from which the job was launched. Keep up the amazing work. Warp rocks. S
